Tile done

I figured out real early that I needed a pair of handy-dandy gardening gloves, after I blistered my sensitive cyclist hands in like 2 minutes. Cyclists are really such pansies at times. I bought them at Ace. Ace really is the place.
Thursday we spent the remainder of the day scraping up the rest of the PVC tile floor in the shop. Thanks to Ryan, Dave's nephew for doing most of the hard work. We needed his young body to get through the tough crap. We did all we could with the manual scrapers, and for what we couldn't get up we rented a tile scraper from Home Depot from our man Al. What a character. He was an ole' Italian dude with hair growing from his hard at hearing ears. He told Dave that the tile scraper would run away on him like a rape date??? Whatever that's supposed to mean. We just thought he was a hoot. Retiring the "Rape Date Machine"
Our next endeavour, the drop ceiling. What's the point of this crap?
This is the PVC tile that filled the bottom of a 40 footer. This isn't even all the tile. We let the dumpster sit for a couple of days, came back and there was all kinds of other people's trash in it like a nice broken lawnmower. Thanks to that kind individual!!!
Ryan "The Machine"

Thanks be to Ryan
