A tribute to Oscar Von Blickem

This is my little long haired wiener dog Oscar. He lived a long 16 years, and my folks had to finally put him down on May 1st. Oscar has been our family dog since I was like 10 years old and not to mention my first and only dog. I was visiting my folks on Albuquerque and didn't realize when this picture was taken that they would put him down only days later. I miss you Oscar. These are my parents Jim and Bonnie at their home in Albuquerque. I remember when I was little Albuquerque seemed so hot, but now the weather has actually changed. It seems to be cooling off a bit. Still to damn dry for me though. Not that Tucson is any different, and it's hotter. I'm dying in this 100+ heat.
My brother Ryan is coming to visit today, well not a visit more of a can I stay at your place to do a race. I think the race is Colossal Cave. Good luck! I'll put photos of the shop up once we have everything up and it looks even more beautiful than it does now. It feels so good not to be racing, and to be able to be a normal person. It's nice to know when the weekend is and not to get days confused any longer cause they all seem the same when you race. So, have a good weekend!

Cool dog. Sorry to hear he's no longer around. I once was not so much a dog person, well, I liked them, but never wanted one, until I moved in with the fiance. Our dog Beatrice is the bomb, and she now likes me better. I'm totally converted.
