On to other news, Dave and his brother John got all the windows installed in the house this weekend. What a bunch of studs. Plus they did all kinds of other manly stuff. It's good to have a man who really knows how to fix things (like men do). Less things I have to fix. So, thanks John you were a huge help. Now I get to spend a week cleaning. Usually it would take like a day or two but when one is pregnant we don't move so well. Bending over becomes quite a task no matter how fit one is. We all went out last night to a college bar/restaurant called Frog'n'Frikin where we sat outside and watched the Bears beat up on the Packers. In the Smessaert family no one is a Packers fan, and everyone is a Bears fan. Grandpa Smess is very happy about the outcome of the game today, I'm sure of it.
Gwen should be coming any day now. The days pass so slowly as any pregnant woman knows. By the time you get to your delivery date you will be more than ready to go through the pain of labor just to get the little monkey out of there. I hope that I will not go past my due day of the 18th (which happens to be Shane Peltonen's Birthday). My brother Ryan's is on the 19th and my mom's is on the 21st. There is a great chance that she will be born on one of those days. Hope all the other mom's I didn't hear back from are doing well. I'm thinking about all of you and your newbies.
