Gwen took her first bath in the tub last Wednesday with daddy. She's been showering with us, but is getting a bit too big to hold up in the shower. She loved it needless to say. She's a water baby luckily.
I also started crawling, and am getting into everything. She likes to play with the most unusual things. Never mind all the baby toys we have, she likes the car seat and wipe dispensers.
Also, she likes to find shoelaces and chew on them. This is Grandma Blickem's foot.
Grandma & Grandpa Blickem came over for a weekend visit before Gwen and I head up to Wisconsin for the summer. Today I leave for Phoenix to stay at Casa de la Smessaert for a week. It's too hot here in Tucson and I can't take Gwen out unless I go at 5am (which I do), but the rest of the day is in the house. Boring! Grandma & Grandpa Smessaert's home in Sun City West has a pool we can use. Thanks mom and dad for coming to visit us.
Uncle Ryan stopped in for a visit, and for doing so Gwen paid him back by chewing on his hair. Must have been salty after his ride over. Yummie.
Want to wish Shane Peltonen a safe and happy trip up to Wisconsin. He is riding his Trek Portland all the way from Tucson, AZ to Hartland, WI. That's a trip. Let us know how it goes Shane.
