Athens
Athens was a decent pace this year, with all the big teams being represented. It was fast and steady throughout the whole race. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that it wasn't raining, and there were no crashes at least if there were I didn't know about them. My friend Janet told me there was a cat that ran out in the middle of the pack, but no crashes. The team did a good job covering attacks throughout the race. On the last lap Lipton started to set up a leadout with a couple of their racers, so we had to change that. We did, and in the end Jen McRae pipped us all on the last corner with Shannon & Tina a few bike lengths behind. Shannon came in for 3rd & Kenzie 9th.
Roswell
It was warm-ish. With that being said what is it with the weather this year. Seems everwhere I go it's cooler than the days before? All I have to say is LVG wanted this race, and it was obvious. She worked her butt off for it, and if anybody deserved the win, it was her. She attacked the crap out of the main field, and then she attacked the crap out of us in the break. We made some mistakes that ultimately cost us the race. That's okay, there is no better way to learn. Powers finished 6th with me on her wheel for 7th.

I watched the Athens race and you guys were flyin', but I have to say, I saw the cat thing and the cat got the loudest cheering I heard all night. She finished strong, squeezing between 2 port-o-potties to take the win. At least she didn't bring bad luck and crashes!
Candice, you're HOT I cant wait to see you race in Anniston.
