These are some of the pictures that Ryan sent to me. I spoke with him today and he didn't seem to be in high spirits. I can tell in his voice that he is extremely bummed, just as anybody should be. I think the hardest part for him is that because he is so athletic, it is hard for him to be do dependant and immobile. He said he has been trying to wheen himself off of the pain meds, but he is still in too much discomfort. If anybody would like to send him a note via snail mail I'd really appreciate it, and I'm sure it would make his day. I know how nice it is to get a tangable letter.
