Life is Great

Pooh Bear and me sleeping in before I wont be able to.
This is me at Taliesin West, which is Frank Lloyd Wright's fellowship school. Started back in the 1930's, this man was way ahead of his time. My buddie is called a "Sprite". Mr. Wright invented them as a good luck charm around the school grounds. If you ever get to Scottsdale, AZ check this place out. Dave's hot ass legs. Yummie!
This past weekend we did the El Tour de Tucson. It was 109 miles, of pain but we survived. There were around 4500 starters in just the 109 miler. We were lucky to start in the Platinum group 1500 back. My teammate Alex made it in the front 30, starting in the VIP. Made a huge difference where you started. She was the first girl to finish, and in the lead group. Dave and I ended up in the same group after the first river crossing. Then he dropped me up a hill. I got a flat soon after that, stopped to pump my tire up more at a first aide station, and take a pee-pee. Ended up finishing in 4:52 only 10 minutes down on Dave's group. Not bad for all that stopping. Rough day, I don't like long miles. Give me 80 and I'm good. Thanks! This is us after finishing whew!
Dave all excited about being at Taliesin West. It was an hour and a half tour.
Life is good, and I have a wonderful man.
