This is Katrina at 37 weeks at a public swimming pool in Girona, Spain. I'm sure people were baffled when walking by this sight to see.
So, I'm in Wisconsin right now and my mom, future sister-in-law Julie and mother-in-law Nancy planned and threw me a surprise baby shower. I had no idea it was coming. My mom flew out from Albuquerque and told me she had a business trip in Chicago and thought she'd spend a few extra days out visiting me. It was all BS. The morning of the shower she was acting all strange and taking a long, long time to get ready as well as trying to stall me at breakfast. It's all in hindsight now. Below is a diaper cake that Julie made. I thought it was a real cake until I got closer.

This is me opening up presents at the shower. There is nothing weirder than opening up gifts in front of lots of people that you are not familiar with. L-R Becca Smessaert (my niece to be), Ruth Smessaert (sister-in-law to be), and Grace Smessaert (another niece to be)
